About Alén Space

Alén Space offers integral solutions in design, manufacture and operation of small satellites, led by a highly qualified team of engineers with more than twelve years’ experience in developing CubeSats, combined with state-of-the-art technology and processes based on European sector standards (ESA-ECSS).
Since embarking on the development of nanosatellites, the Alén Space team has worked with some of the world’s leading space organizations and agencies, such as the European Space Agency (ESA), the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA), the Brazilian Space Agency (AEB) and the Spanish National Institute of Aerospace Technology (INTA).
Alén Space team has obtained landmark achievements, such as placing the first Spanish nanosatellite in orbit or developing the first CubeSat sent by the UN. All the small satellites developed by the Alén Space team have successfully completed their missions, enabling them to boast a 100% success rate.

TOTEM is a flight proven high performance SDR platform designed specifically for small satellites. Its in-orbit reconfigurability makes it very convenient for any communication nanosatellite.

Ground Station Kit (GS-Kit): All-in-one Solution for Ground Stations

Alén Space GS-Kit

The Ground Station Kit (GS-Kit) is Alén Space’s all-in-one solution that will allow you to set up a ground station and track Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites that operate in commercial and amateur bands.

Its easy assembly makes site survey, training and installation assistance by our technicians only needed upon request.

It can support simultaneously three different bands: VHF, UHF and S-band.

What does GS-Kit include?

  • All the necessary elements to install a tracking station for small satellites: structure, antennas, cables, azimuth and elevation rotors.
  • Strong structure with easy assembly.
  • SDR-Rack: rackable dual Software Defined Radio compatible with GNU Radio.
